Delete your account
This page explains how to request deletion of your MediTox account and associated data. It applies to the MediTox mobile app (package ai.meditox).
How to request deletion
Email us from the address associated with your account:
Send to privacy@meditox.ai with the subject "Account deletion request". Include the email or phone number you sign in with so we can verify the request. You do not need the app installed to make a request.
What gets deleted
Once your identity is verified, we delete the personal data tied to your account, including:
- Your account identifiers (email or phone) and authentication records.
- Your clinician profile (name, specialty, institution).
- Your saved queries, anamnesis inputs, and consultation history associated with your account.
What we may retain
We retain a limited set of records where we are legally or clinically required to do so — chiefly audit logs, which are kept for the period required by applicable regulations (currently up to seven years). These records are held securely and are not used to contact or profile you. Payment records may also be retained by our payment processor as required by law.
Timeline
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will confirm by email when your account has been deleted.
