MediTox is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address]. For questions, contact info@meditox.ai.

1. Eligibility and account registration

The Service is intended for licensed healthcare professionals and qualified clinicians. By creating an account, you represent that you are a licensed healthcare professional. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Description of Service

MediTox provides clinical decision support for toxicology, including antidote dosing calculations, toxin identification, drug interaction checks, and specialist tele-consultation. The Service does not replace independent professional medical judgment. All outputs are for reference only and must be verified by the clinician before clinical action.

3. Not a substitute for professional judgment

The Service is clinical decision support only. It does not replace the judgment of a qualified physician, toxicologist, or poison-control centre. The clinician using the Service retains full responsibility for all clinical decisions, diagnoses, and treatments. In an emergency, contact your local poison-control centre or emergency services immediately.

4. User obligations

5. Privacy and data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Tele-consultation

MediTox facilitates video consultations between clinicians and specialist toxicologists. Consultations are recorded for audit and quality assurance. Patient data shared during a consultation is de-identified before transmission to the specialist. The specialist is an independent consultant; MediTox is not responsible for the specialist's advice or actions.

7. Payments and tokens

Certain features of the Service may require payment. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Token purchases, subscription fees, and consultation charges are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Prices are subject to change with notice.

8. Regulatory compliance

MediTox is designed with consideration for applicable medical device regulations. The Service is classified as clinical decision support software. Nothing in these Terms guarantees compliance with any specific regulatory framework. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the Service complies with applicable local regulations.

9. Intellectual property

All content, algorithms, and technology in the Service are owned by MediTox or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MediTox and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8–12 survive termination.
